In Loving Memory of God’s Unique Light, Terrance Ford
Terrance Danell Ford, son of Terry and Phyllis Ford was born on April 15, 1989 in Honolulu, Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. To know him was to experience the warmth of genuine connection. With an effortless ability to bond, he turned mere acquaintances into immediate friends. He possessed an innate ability to make those around him feel seen, heard, and valued.
Terrance was raised in a military household that traveled often throughout his academic years.  Finally settling home in Fayetteville, NC, Terrance attended Seventy First High School.  He completed transitional studies and obtained his GED at Pitt Community College in Greenville, NC.  He continuously sought new opportunities and welcomed any and all challenges. His ability to adapt to a new environment or career was exceptional. Pursuing culinary school, food services, customer service, or construction, Terrance saw no limits to the depth of his abilities. .
Though the work was long and hard on his body, Terrance was a gentle spirit that loved hard and choose kindness, love, and fellowship with others.  His charismatic bigger than life personality got him through many doors, no keys needed.  His passion, resilience and ability to strive for greater led him to fully own an entrepreneurial attitude as he began a car wash and detailing business.
Terrance adored His Boys, his love for them resounded with pride every chance he mentioned them.  Terrance and the boys loved to wrestle and play fight, with punches, karate chops and big fun wrestle mania slams on a couch, mattress, or any soft surface.  Teaching them how to be tough was important, but more than that, Terrance wanted them to be kind, respectful, and know that he loved them.
In My Father’s House are many mansions, and on August 19, 2023, Terrance was called to his heavenly home. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Charles and Dorothy Ford (paternal), Deacon James and Pastor Grace Hinton (maternal); uncle James Hinton and aunt Sybil Hinton.
Terrance leaves his sons Jakobi Ford and Jasiri Ford to carry on the Ford name and his legacy.  He will forever be loved and cherished in memory by his parents Terry and Phyllis Ford of Fayetteville, NC; sister Charmaine Ford of Harrisburg, NC; brother Valentino Jones of Belle Rose, LA; nieces Sophia Sadae Ford of Harrisburg, NC and Jazlyn Jones of Belle Rose, LA; nephews Valentino Jones Jr. of Fayetteville, NC and La’Damien Jones of Belle Rose, LA; aunt Portia Tatum of Fayetteville, NC; uncle Michael Hinton of Fayetteville, NC, and a host of great aunts, great uncles, favorite cousins, family and friends.
To have known Terrance was a blessing. To have felt his embrace, shared in his laughter, and been touched by his kindness was a gift beyond measure. Through family, friends, and the ones he loved most the bonds he forged, and the love he shared, he will forever live on.  Rest in eternal peace.
