Nupith Cometon ((Komtun)) McIntyre

We honor the memory of our beloved Nupith Cometun McIntyre, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who passed away on March 22, 2024 in Fayetteville, North Carolina at age of 77 years old. She was born on October 14,1946, in Thailand to father, Kong Komtun and mother, Larun Komtun. She was the youngest and last survival of the Komtun’s in which names in the order of birth Xiang, Xi, Thongroi, Thongmak, Buapan, Boonsong, Khamman, and Hung.

Nupith birthed 3 children in Thailand and later came to America and had 5 more children. Survived by her husband, Norman H. McIntyre.

Everyone respected her because of her personality and thoughtfulness. She was outgoing and made a remarkable impact on many others. She loved to cook, tend to her garden, make others smile and go to the Thai temple. She was a devoted grandmother who always made time for her grandchildren, whether it was watching them, feeding them, or simply just spending time.

Nupith will always be remembered as a shining example of love, care, and devotion. As always, her memories will be remembered and well loved by her family.

Not only to honor and remember her memory but also to celebrate the life of a cherished matriarch with thoughtfulness and care are Phonphirom Khamtan (Tui), Ramida Somon (Pong), Nantima Hiwortecharan (mam), John Williams Smith, Jennifer Ann Smith, Judy Lynn Smith, Mary Ann Smith and Virginia Elaine Adkins and her 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

American Service will be held at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home, 500 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301, on Friday, March 29th, 2024, from 2-5pm
