In the weekly United 8 Conference golf match at Cypress Lakes, Walters turned in his best round of the year, a 69. He current leads the individual standings in the conference with a 298 total, the only conference golfer under 300 after four rounds. He is 20 shots ahead of his closest competitor with three regular season matches left.
Ethan Paschal, Terry Sanford, golf
Paschal shot a 64, seven under par, in the weekly All American Conference golf match at Kings Grant. He helped lead the Bulldogs to an even par score of 284. Teammate Taft Courie shot 66 and Thomas Horne 71. Terry Sanford has a lead of almost 100 strokes over second-place Harnett Central with four matches left in the regular season.
